Hi! Welcome to the Wesley web page/blog.
Wesley is a student organization at New Mexico State University. We are a Christian organization, sponsored by the United Methodist Church. We are quite an active bunch, usually meeting several times a week outside of special activities.
What programs does Wesley offer?
Sunday Night Worship- every Sunday at 6pm, Wesley gathers to share a meal cooked by a church in the community, sing, hear a message, and share in fellowship with each other.
Leftover Wednesday Bible Study- every Wednesday at 7pm, students gather to explore scripture, ask questions, grow as disciples, and eat whatever ‘leftovers” that are on the fridge. This Bible Study is led by our Director Zach Bechtold, although there is the opportunity for students to lead as well.
Missions-Wesley’s goal is to serve the campus, the community and the world in the name of Christ. In addition to campus outreach events, we are working to connect students with local mission opportunities. Every spring break we take a mission trip. We’ve gone everywhere from Washington DC to the Four Corners to Austin. Each time serving men, women and children in need. For more information on Missions feel free to check out the Missions tab.
And we’re also involved in NMSU Intramural Sports!
We do a lot of events for service, personal growth, outreach, and just for fun. Events? I like events.
