The Wesley Foundation Students are committed to Local Missions as well and Mission all around the world.  We believe we are called to share are gifts and graces with those around is.  AS there are many opportunities to serve locally we are always looking for new ways and places to serve inside and out of Las Cruces.

Gospel Rescue

Tuesday Bi-Weekly Mission Opportunity.

We serve meals at the Gospel Rescue Mission http://www.lcgrm.org/, twice a month on Tuesdays.

EYE Border Mission Day

January 29, 2011 – El Paso/Juarez Border Area

Wesley joins area youth groups to serve areas of need near Lydia Patterson and Houchen Community Center.  Both these UM missions serve the impoverished in the border area.

SPRING BREAK MISSION TRIP

March 19-27, 2011

This past Spring Break eighteen Wesley students and sponsors traveled to Shiprock NM to serve at the Four Corners Native American Ministry. It was a great trip…one of serving others, growing spiritually, and learning about our neighbors in the Four Corners area.

Join us as we prayerfully discern where God is calling and leading us to go in 2011.

Your desire to participate should not depend on where we are going, but that you want to serve others and personally grow.  We will have info about the Mission Trip before Thanksgiving Break.
